HVAC Installer Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years professional field installation experience including: gas forced air, electric and hydronic heating, air conditioning, evaporative and mini-split cooling options
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record - no exceptions
- Universal EPA certification required
- A Nate Certification is a major plus
- Ability to effectively use and maintain common field equipment
- Experience using a technical interface (app) to manage customer information, notes, photos
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-starter who works well independently and as part of the team
- Appreciates being taught new/different approaches; ability to teach others
